Dr. Lingam is the most experienced Interventional Pain Management physician in Central Ohio and is the founder of Pain Care Specialists, LLC. He has been taking care of pain patients from Ohio and most of the neighboring states since 1979.
He graduated from Andhra Medical College and completed training in general surgery in India. He completed his Anesthesiology and specialty training in Pain Management at the University of Miami, Florida. He then joined The Ohio State University Medical Center and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. During his tenure there, he started the first “pain clinic” in Columbus at The Ohio State University Medical Center and was instrumental in developing this into The Ohio State Center for Pain Control of which he was the Medical Director until just before he left OSU. He obtained accreditation from the American Board of Anesthesiology and started the Pain Fellowship Program at The Ohio State University Medical Center and was the Director of the Pain Fellowship Program until his departure. He was the Associate Chairperson of the Department of Anesthesiology and was an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the College of Medicine.
In 2001, he left The Ohio State University to start Pain Care Specialists, LLC. He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and in Pain Medicine. He has a wide range of interests, mostly in the sciences and one of his priorities is keeping up with the changes and advances in the field of Pain Control. |
